Legacy Community Health is a mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the communities it serves. We're seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team and support leaders across assigned clinics and business units.
This is a highly visible, hands-on HRBP role for an experienced HR professional who thrives as a trusted advisor—someone who can coach leaders, navigate complex employee relations matters, support workforce planning, and help drive organizational change.
What You'll Do
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will:
- Partner with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
- Coach managers through complex people issues while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, retention initiatives, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead and support change management initiatives and HR process improvements.
- Facilitate leadership trainings, presentations, and HR discussions.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Operations, Compliance, and HR teams to deliver effective people solutions.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can build trust, influence leaders, and balance employee advocacy with business priorities. The ideal candidate is strategic, practical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Recent experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, Senior HR Generalist, or similar leader-facing HR role.
- Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, workplace investigations, and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to facilitate presentations, trainings, and leader discussions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting healthcare, nonprofit, multi-site, or other regulated organizations.
- Workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, or change management experience.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates from other complex, multi-site organizations with strong HRBP experience are encouraged to apply.
